Writing and reading the words aloud can be transformative, healing, and heartening. Susan Weis-Bohlen leads writing salons in the Gateless Method of putting pen to paper, allowing the words to flow onto the page (or laptop) opening up new pathways of expression, and leaving the inner critic behind. The creative muse is ignited through a short meditation, a writing prompt, writing for 15-20 minutes, and reading our words to the group (always optional). The magic is in the feedback, crafted by the listener to offer positive, supportive responses to the writing. No matter your experience, you will find these sessions simply magical. The words we write and share elicit responses of empathy, joy, and awe. You will learn craft tools by listening to your peers.
